bracelets to our volunteers which will not only recognize you for your
dedication but to mark you as mentors to new volunteers who attend our
games. There are 4 levels to
achieve.

your first hour
v
Blue with inscription "Earned My Wings" marking your twenty fifth hour
v
Purple with inscription "Miracle Maker" marking
your fiftieth hour
v
Combination White, Blue and Purple with
inscription "Grand Slam" marking your one-hundredth hour. (Volunteers of 100 plus hours are also
recognized at our annual volunteer appreciation picnic which will take place in
early September 2010)

Committees:
Throughout
the year we have large events for the children to participate. Committees make those events
possible. As a committee member
you attend planning meetings, help organize and execute the events. Below is a list of committees for which
we need participants. All Committees are currently forming, please contact Melissa to get involved. (484-707-5746)
Halloween Committee: meets every other week September through October.
Silent Auction Committee: meets once a month starting in November, then more frequently as we approach the annual gala.

Senior Projects
Many high-school students are required to complete a senior project in order to graduate. The Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley is a great place to do that. Contact Melissa to register by email at Click Here. This spring, those who sign up for their senior project will be grouped together to run a baseball team. A mentor-coach will be provided, but most of the work will be coordinated by the group. Roles will include: assistant coaching, ensuring you have enough volunteers for your team each game and keeping all of your players updated reguarding the schedule and upcoming events. Seven seniors have signed up so far, and we are looking for at least 5 more!
